Keg at the brewery. Hazy, almost Murky yellow, thin creamy white head, good retention. Aroma of bready malt, tannins, spice, candi sugar. Taste is orange, lemon, spice, bready malt. Medium bodied, lingering spice.

Hazed light golden liquid with a moderate, stable, light beige head. Heavy yeast scent. Light fruit, alcohol, bread dough and cookies. Aroma is a bit too rough in the front for me. Smooth feel. Start is sweet and stays quite sweet throughout. Light pale malt, caramel, apple, pear, raisin, hints of spice. Very much a tripel. Finishes with a light floral hops. Once I got past the initial aroma this one was quite good. 5/13

Draft. As a sample an easy drinking tripel, honey notes, floral hops, good stuff, really nice proprietors at this place.

Majority of 22 oz. bottle, consumed on 1-8-16. Strong and interesting smell. Yeasty. Scents of bubblegum and a bouquet of flowers. A tinge of lemon juice tartness. Pours a hazy, cloudy, dirty blonde with a large amount of cream-colored to beige, thick, uneven, long-lasting head. Attractive beer. Quite cloudy and suspended particulate in the final pour. Interesting, dry, yeasty, boozy taste. Reminds me of Duvel and similar true Belgian strong golden ales. Doughy flavor. Golden raisin and yellow plum. A bit tart and a fair amount bitter. Tastes almost Bretty, though I don’t think there’s any Brett in there. Medium body. Lively in the palate. Memorable and enjoyable although a bit weird and unusual.

esjaygee (3906) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 6, 2013
Pale amber with a thin white crown. Aroma of toasted malt, skunky hops, herbal notes and yeast. Taste is sweet yet a bit sour with yeast, toasted malts and mild fruit.

Bomber to teku. Pale straw color. Sugary sweet. Fruity and dry bitter bite on the finish. Nice lacing.

Bomber. Poured clear, straw golden with a dense, sticky, well-retained white head. The aroma picked up honey and bready notes surrounded by honeysuckle, green peppercorns, coriander, banana, cloves, and a bit of orange peel.. odd, dank fruit-like sweetness on the back of the nose.. interesting. The flavor found bread and honey at the core, with sharp, bitter orange peel and peppery spices laced throughout.. some floral character joined as well.. tacky, sharp, and bitter on the long, lightly sour finish. Medium-bodied with prickly carbonation on the palate.. this had a lot going on, and it really didn’t work for me.

Bottle courtesy of "hannont". Colour...cloudy golden straw with a thin head. Nose...redolent of butyl esters, spice and quince. Palate...delicately frothy with plenty of fresh peach, pear and lemon curd. There’s an ever present sweet spice flavour that carries splendidly across the palate and resounds on the finish. The 8+% is well hidden!

Received 22-oz bomber via trade with esjaygee. Pours a semi-hazy golden straw colored brew with a decent sized white head that slowly dissipates and leaves behind some excellent lacing. Aroma of tart pear, a hint of Belgian yeast, some light clove, golden grain malt, and a hint of lemon. Taste is medium to full bodied, soft carbonation with a slight tart pear and golden grain malt. Additional flavors of tropical fruit, citrus zest and a hint of white bread. Finish is slightly tart, with a Belgian yeast and pear aftertaste. A solid tripel with a nice tart finish.

Bottle shared by motortoddhead. Straw colored with light haze. Clean lemon citrus and belgian yeast esters with slight acidic/tart twang. Citrus, pale malt, herbalish/rustic hops. Ultra-clean with lightly acidic, semi-dry finish. Extremely well-attenuated. One of the easiest drinking, well-profiled tripels I’ve ever had. Kudos.
