Big Buck Brown Ale, a high gravity beer, is brewed with local maple syrup. Drink too much and you’ll be wearing fake antler like Nikki too. Pick some up for deer camp so you can tell your friends, "This year I got a Big Buck."

Aroma is fruit/raspberries, malts and very slightly perfumed. The flavor is fruit/raspberries,malts, maple syrup in the middle and a sweet/tart finish.

Draft. Good ol balck husky taking everything and making it 7% or above. IT is a decent imperial brown, sweet, cocoa, malt, booze, decent.

Reddish brown. Nose of toasted malt and brown sugar. Flavor is an odd mix of toasted malt/brown sugar with an odd fruity character. Sweet fruity finish with mild toasted malt. Not what I’m looking for in a brown.

On tap at Honey Pie. Nice rich body smoothly blended slightly sweet. Nice dark brown color.

From bomber. Classic reddish brown in color. Aroma of caramel and maple. Tasted kind of woody sweet flavor with hints of Maple and Caramel, creamy and smooth. A pretty good brown. Would definitely get this on tap ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

22oz bomber shared at Andy’s house post Big Barrel Tararell. Red-brown body. Super sweet extract richness. Butterscotch undercurrents, not really that enjoyable. Maple overload. Not so refined, tastes like homebrew caramel overload.

Split bomber with sherm1016...thanks! Pours a rich, clear brown with a thin head. Nose is maple and caramel...a little boozy for a brown...didn’t notice the 8% until later...you get hints of the booze in this...overall good but not great

22oz bottle from Downer Wine and Spirits, split with Dwm1034. Pours a deep brown color with a thin tan head. Aroma is sweet, brown sugar, maple syrup, a little bit of alcohol. Just a little heavy on the palate with soft carbonation. Flavor is sweet, malty, toast, nutty, some alcohol heat, a little vanilla, a touch of maple syrup, with some strange vegetal taste on the finish. Something didn’t work too well for me on this one. Not horrible, but just a little off.

Bottled. Poured deeper brown with a dense, smoked beige head. The aroma picked up nutty notes, chocolate, and maple syrup, with sour, funky, off-notes around.. I enjoyed the malt bill, but it smelled like it was possibly infected. The flavor found sweet, sticky maple at the core, with chocolates and nutty notes laced throughout.. unfortunately, soured grains and vinegar showed up on all facets of the drink.. finished sour with tasty malts trying to come through. Medium-plus bodied with high carbonation on the palate.. sourness very effectively kept this from having a smooth or enjoyable flow through the palate.. I’ll try again if I find it fresh on tap.

Murky mahogany with a medium tan head that fades away slowly. Aroma of nuts, maple, funk and malt. Taste is a bit strange with maple, nuts, malt and mild off-flavors.
