COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We are pretty sure this is a world first This is a 100% organic Scottish beer aged in 100% organic Scottish whisky casks. The base beer was our new 7.4% Black Stout and the whisky casks were provided very kindly by the excellent and innovative Bruichladdich distillery on Islay This is a one off beer, made in a very small batch, and all bottles are individually numbered. This beer will age extremely well, so don’t worry if you forget about it for a while.

McNeillR (2327) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 18, 2015
Murky amber brown, opaque. Decent crater of a tan head, not much lacing. Blackberry, oddly floral and thick roast. Taste is plum, real tarry roast and fluffy bitterness. Bullish enough mouthfeel, thins out quickly. Finishes a bit burnt toast, a bit vibrant blackberry linger.

@ Gyllenbock 15-3-23: trevliga ganska balanserade whiskeytoner. Smaken ganska rik på choklad. En lagom whiskeyton. Lätt, len god. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone ---- Soberness not garanteed!

From my Secret Santa Blomster via my cellar. Bottle 763/1051. Black pour with a generous tan head. Complex aroma of roast malt, dark fruits, whiskey, chocolate. The flavor is lightly sweet balanced by a light bitterness. Complex following the aroma and evolving through different stages as it warms. Well done.
