Bottle at home. Sweet burnt toffee on nose, taste is dry malty toffee, light bitterness, excellent low abv beer. This was definitely one that improved with a few months aging.

allmyvinyl (11186) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 14, 2014
500ml bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours dark reddish brown, no real head. Aromas of grapefruit and toffee. Taste has a light bitterness and more toffee. Little thin, but not bad for the strength.

Geiserich (4660) - Linz, AUSTRIA - JAN 6, 2014
Bottle: Brown color, off-white head. Light malty aroma with light sweetness but mainly hop aromatic aroma with herbs, flowers and citrus. Flavor is also light malty with light candy notes, hints of roasted malt and again hops with notes of grapefruit, tropical fruits, grapes, citrus. Very tasty and lovely for this low alcohol content.

Bottle shared at the ChrisO Flags of Many Nations Easter Tasting 2013 - London. Pours clearish brown with a fine, beige cream head. Toasty malts in the aroma, some melon, ripe orange, light roast. Light sweet flavor with some lightly toasted dough, faint pine, orange and melon. Light bodied with fine, creamy carbonation. Light juicy ripe citrus finale, with faint resins, toast, pine. Great for the ABV.

50 cl bottle @ Töysä. BBE 07/2013, rated on 06.07.2013
Aroma has hops, some nuts, malt, and resin. Flavour is ’greasy’ and a bit watery with malty notes, nuts and hints of resin. Some smoky and ashy notes at the end of the glass. Malty, watery and somewat hoppy – odd but not bad.

pours sark chestnut brown with slight foamy beige head. Strong tangerine on nose with digestive biscuits in behind. Fairly full bodied for a beer so low in alcohol, juicy pithy hops backed up by moreish malting. branflakeswith a glass of breakfast juice! Good job Col!

meerbier (1474) - Pijnacker, NETHERLANDS - JUN 21, 2013
[email protected] Drinkable but not too great. Very easy going. Light bitter, light malty, hint of diacetyl.

olio (10692) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAY 30, 2013
50 cl bottle. BBE 07/2013.
Pours clear dark ruby red color with a medium sized frothy head. Aroma is quite nice and floral, exotic fruits, mostly mango, the slight nutty malts don’t quite fit here though. Flavor of grape fruits, some grass, mild goose berries and some hops. Slick palate, somewhat juicy berry finish. A tad too watery but very easy to drink and otherwise decent brew.
