Bottle. Honey, berry, bready malt and hay hops aroma. Golden yellow color with nice off-white head. Sweet honey/berry malt and moderately bitter grass hops flavor. Very nice. DrouthyNeebor (10) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 12, 2012
Aroma of fresh cut grass and distinct caramel. Beautiful straw gold with lasting thin white head. Generous lacing.
At first sweetish then the complexity develops.
Medium bodied, creamy mouthfeel with average carbonation and a very long lasting delicious bitter finish.
Superb lager and one of my current favorites (and it has the kudos of being organic too!)

Cloudy yellow (my choice) this has a fresh, grassy, cirtus aroma. Light biscuity malts are present with a refreshing acidicy. A good lager - from Scotland and better than Schiehalliion. And its organic (if you care). DruncanVeasey (8225) - NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - MAY 7, 2010
Bottle. Fresh grassy aroma with thistle and lime; shortbread beneath, honey, that shrub down the bottom of the garden. Really excellent fresh grassy hop on honeyed baked bread; hands that do dishes, shrubbiness; aftertaste of vanilla and unsalted peanuts. Pure gold with a tall uneven head going nowhere. Not the first bottled effort from this brewery to seriously impress. Totally hits the spot Bathory (458) - Kverneland, NORWAY - JUL 30, 2013
Pours a straw yellow, clear colour with a white head. Aroma of grass, pine and acctually some licorice notes at the end. Flavour is peach, grass, honey and some very light touches of anis. Really refhreshing taste to it like the other Black Isle beers I’ve had. Smooth carbonation and mouthfeel. Overall a very good blonde. MrJamesMcEwan (243) - SCOTLAND - OCT 3, 2014

Bottle from Sainsbury’s. Pours clear straw gold with foamy white head. Aromas major in a sweet malt front with a very gentle spice. Taste is light and fresh with a nice fruitiness and gentle pepper finish over a sweet malt base. It has a light body with moderate carbonation. This is a fantastic easy drinking, clean, fresh lager that gives a gentle nod to Belgium.
