ManVsBeer (10806) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - APR 29, 2016
Bottle from Booths, Media City. Dark amber-red with a thin head. Sweetened ale in both aroma and taste with some dark berry fruitiness. Crisp and strong tasting.

colui72 (1071) - HONG KONG - DEC 9, 2015
Clear dark brown, very minimal head. Aroma is slightly sour and malty. Taste is medium sweet, notes of caramel, coffee, malts but well balanced by the hops. Easy drinking and quite tasty winter beer. Not bad at all.

weark (834) - Morges, SWITZERLAND - NOV 5, 2015

330ml bottle. A nice Scotch ale, but there are better examples like Traquair. Aroma has a very slight lemon-like freshness to it which may be from late addition hops. Colour is a reddish chestnut brown. Taste has a reasonable amount of malt for the ABV, but I would prefer it to be more viscous as some are. Sweetness is about right and the hoppiness too. Maybe this bottle could benefit from a little ageing. Overall quite enjoyable.

Danjo312 (107) - Hamburg, GERMANY - SEP 27, 2015
Tolles Bier! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330 ml bottle from the Pillars of Hercules organic farm store. At the BB date Full smooth body and full flavor with a hint of dark fruit cake Dark roasted grains leave a pleasant aftertaste suggestive of black bread and a hint of coffee.
