I tried this a few times, but it never delivered. It wasn’t awful, it just tasted like it had gone off - slightly flat, and funny tasting.

500ml bottle (K Kamppi, Helsinki)
Lovely fruity aroma, really light and sweet, there is some childhood sweetie memory there, something tangy and zingy. Slightly watery palate, but I guess this is only a 4% golden, I wouldn’t expect anything heavier (but it is certainly possible). Refreshing body, well balanced bready malts and citrussy hops. Gently sweet, but not sugary. Very pleasant organic graininess, much more character than a typical blond. Quality brew.

ianwelby (1392) - SCOTLAND - NOV 10, 2012
Clear, light copper ale with a foamy head. Hoppy aroma with a hint of citrus. The taste reflects the aroma, hoppy with a sharp citrus edge leaving a slightly hoppy aftertaste on the tongue. Very nice but the taste isn’t especially strong.

jaghana (6070) - Strasbourg (Alsace), FRANCE - NOV 8, 2012
Bottle 50cl, a clear copper beer with medium head. Nose is on aromatic hops such as grapefruit and resin. Aroma is very nice on aromatic hops such as grass, resin, almond, good bitterness too.Vanilla and almond like finish, good stuff.

motelpogo (7704) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - SEP 26, 2012
Bottled, an old rating. Lightly hazed golden with a short-lived head; aroma of lolly water; slightly musty with notes of white grape and sherbet; underwhelming finish

Svesse (8601) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - SEP 16, 2012
(Draught at Bishop’s Arms Folkungagatan, Stockholm) Golden colour with creamy, off-white head. Fruity nose with notes of citrus, tropical fruit, passion-fruit and biscuity malt. Fruity taste with citrus, tropical fruit, biscuity malt, hints of yeast and a gentle, lemony bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a balanced sweetness. Quite nice.

Sarpa (1572) - FINLAND - SEP 1, 2012

stravale (3065) - Co. Westmeath, IRELAND - AUG 14, 2012
Cask @ Golden Rule, Edinburgh
Golden light amber, crystal clear, thin white head, some lacing.
Aroma - pale golen fairly sweet malts, pale fruits, light apricot, soft citrus, soft floral
Taste - pale golden malts, soft pale fruits, apricot, restrained citrus hops, some floral notes, some creamy golden malt, soft cereal
Palate - soft carb, thinnish body but a bit oily and viscous...light bittersweet palate. Finish - moderate bitter lingering light zesty hops
Overall - Quite a good ale - it’s improved when it was nothing special a while back
