COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
When we first introduced “Aftermath” in our tasting room, we were looking to produce a drinkable Pale Ale that wasn’t just a reproduction of everyone else’s Pale Ale. We succeeded in creating ours with a unique blend of 5 hop varieties to produce a pale with HUGE hop aroma and flavor, without the bitterness of an IPA.
Hops: Amarillo, Cascade, Centennial, Columbus, Mosaic
Malt: Pale, Munich

Visual: Pours clear dark mahogany brown without a significant head, ringed retention with a large island, very steady micro streams

Nose: fragrant 50/50 citrus hops-sweet barley malt (lvl-5)-pungency

Attack: crisp, soft-creamy, bitter hopped malt impression

Mid-palate: (lvl-3-sweetness), citrusy stealth sharp bitter hops, metallic barley malt,

Finish: dry grass hoppy bitter

Summary: A very smooth sippable brew of sharp bitter hops that linger until the finish that is accompanied by a healthy dose of barley malt forming a robust body of drinkable pleasure. Can’t say I’ll remember this, but it was a good go.

Orangish color, white head with good retention and lacework. Aroma as notes of resin hops, orange peel and some tropical fruits. Flavor dominated by a good bitterness, orange zest are highly present with light citrus notes. Resin hints in the final with good bitterness.

Sample at the brewpub. Hazy orange color with a medium white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing. Citrus, piney hops and malt in the nose. Light to medium body with flavors of resiny hops, fruit and grainy malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a resiny hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

UPDATED: MAY 8, 2017 The most exciting thing about this beer is the can . If the world had ended and someone offered me this beer , I would happily drink it. It is a solid post world brew . Kinda of a milddle of the road APA. A hint of floral with a big bitter lingering after taste that says buckle up there’s another wave of rouge zombies headed this way . On the palate , reminds me of citrus peel or quinine . AFTERMATH would certainly do in the case of an apocolypitic scenario. This is my first time here giving a rating so I will use my preferrred system of 1 -10 , I give it a 5 . I liked it but I don’t get that its description says it’s not bitter like an IPA . It’s plenty bitter . I do not like sweet beer but this one could use a little ripe basement .

Can sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Stas & Vova. Slightly hazy golden. Fruity hops aroma, slightly stale. Flavor has sweetish malt, and somewhat stale bitter hops. Medium-bodied.
