Tap at E! Burger. Rating #3. Dark amber, copper color with a tan head and decent lacing. Toasty aroma with a little hops. Much more going on in the flavor, huge toast with a little roast and a nice hop punch that gives it a decent amount of bitterness. Very nice. Tap. Pours clear reddish amber with a small off-white head that dissipates with some lacing. Aroma is caramel roasted malt and grass. Flavor is mildly sweet caramel, roasted malt, a bit of nuttiness, a touch of smoke and a pine and grassy hop bite. Finish is mildly bitter. Aftertaste is a bit metallic. brokensail (16449) - Dublin, California, USA - JUL 30, 2012
UPDATED: AUG 7, 2012 The pour is a clear golden color. Sweet bread, a little bit of toast, toffee, a bit of nutty maltiness on the nose. Taste is a little bit sweet, toasted malt, nutty, and maybe some bread. There’s a bit of yeast, and very minimal hop flavor. Just sort of sweet without that much really going on.
