Aroma is straw, clove and honey. Taste is light sweet malts with slight tart and funk. Finishes with tart and yeast. Appearance is a cloudy yellow with a medium pearl head that retains quite well.

Intensely hazy with a thin white head. Aroma is more lemon than banana and clove. Actually, the taste leans that way too plus a peppery finish.

True Bavarian style Hefe. Nice banana aroma and taste but not overwhelming. Slightly sweet up front with nice wheaty dry finish.

Rating #1576 - 21.03.2015 - On tap @ Venice Ale House - 1/5 beers served to me in 5oz samples on a skateboard..Pours a hazy, golden orange colour with a frothy, white head that fades fairly quickly to a foamy ring. Aroma is yeast, banana bread, and a floral whiff. Taste is very much a bready, banana flavour with a spicy/herbal note lingering into a smooth finish. Medium carbonation. Mouthfeel is clean and superb. Excellent.

Poured from the 12oz can into a Weizen glass. Golden straw color with a thin white head. Aroma is yeasty with banana and some spice. Flavor has a nice light wheat note and the typical banana and clove notes. Light to medium body with a long finish. Pretty much a classic hefeweizen - nice to see that it’s not overpowered by the banana and clove or some other fruit infusion.

Pretty close to German hefes. Little clove and banana, low sweetness and pretty clean. Works for California climate.

Decent hefeweizen. Banana and clove in aroma of a cloudy pour with big white head. Flavor of banana and clove. Finishes pretty clean with a great wheat finish.

The best domestic Hefeweizen I’ve ever had! I love Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier and this beer tops that. Banana, clove, balanced sweetness, refreshing. This is an incredible Hefe.
