The best domestic Hefeweizen I’ve ever had! I love Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier and this beer tops that. Banana, clove, balanced sweetness, refreshing. This is an incredible Hefe. UXO (1896) - CANADA - SEP 1, 2015
Appearance: hazy pale gold with one finger of fluffy white head, good retention and patchy lacing. (3/5) Aroma: banana and bubblegum, wheat, white pepper and cloves. (7/10) Taste: moderate sweet, mild bitter. (7/10) Light body, moderate-low carbonation, off-dry short duration finish. (4/5)
Awww… no cool name on this one? That’s OK, Black Market, I forgive you. You make too many good beers for me not to! (And I just checked - did I really give four other Black Market beers 7.5/10? Talk about consistent...) This one comes up just a little short, though, compared to its brethren. Nice, but just a tiny bit bland. (14/20) blipp (9929) - La Mesa, California, USA - AUG 2, 2015
Can. Pours hazed gold with a white head. Wheaty and yeasty base, with faint sweetness, mild banana, some mild grainy notes, and a quick finish. Pretty good. andrewje41 (4540) - Kenmore, Washington, USA - JUL 30, 2015
12 oz can poured. Pours a cloudy golden color with a fading head. Banana fruit aroma. Flavor is pretty typical for a German Hefe, though i have never had great success distinguishing many from others. That being said, this was pretty standard for me. Sweet fruit, wheaty background. Drinks nice. Not bad. patricks110 (2800) - Alberta, CANADA - JUL 24, 2015
An above average hefe. Not as complex or spicy as I like...light banana, bit of cloves, a bit of bubblegum. Pout is q bright golden straw yellow with light carbonation and a steady puffed up beige head.

Personally I think hefes shouldn’t be filtered, it not only AIDS in the appearance but also the texture across one’s palate. Pours a relatively small head atop a very clear and lightly carbonated gold body. Nose of mild banana and tonic water. Rather thin taste - some of the tropical esters make an appearance but mostly it’s standard. Okay. reebtogi (6403) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 9, 2015
650ml bottle pours a hazy golden orange color with a finger of white head that leaves a few spots of lacing on the glass. Aroma is grassy with some cereal grains. Taste is a grassy hop bitterness with a spicy pepper note and a malty sweetness. Grainy mouth feel. Light bodied with adequate carbonation. Overall, a respectable brew for the style, with good taste and well balanced. Ibrew2or3 (8913) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - JUN 21, 2015
Finally trying this award winning Hefe. 12oz can pours with an opaque copper to gold body that supports a thin tan head of foam. The aroma offers up a nice bouquet of estery banana and spicy cloves with a dash of apple and pear fruity esters in the background. The taste begins with a brief soft palate that quickly climbs into spicy cloves and a sweet blend of banana and bubble gum. To midway a pleasing soft yeasty note is joined by thin smooth sweet apples and pears leading into a thin ribbon of cracker sort of wheated malts into the finish. Pretty solid with plenty of balance and interest. SnoopALoop (4) - Long Beach, California, USA - JUN 15, 2015 does not count

Bottle from Capitol Beer & Tap Room. Pours cloudy golden with a thick foamy off-white head and a toffee and banana aroma. There is a light-bodied wheat flavor with a hint of banana ester. Not very fruity.
