COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Liberation IPA Is an Imperial IPA, which means that we took the malt and hop character of a regular IPA and kicked everything up a few notches. Liberation is a malt and hop powerhouse that drinks smooth and hides its strength. Drink this one fresh to preserve all the hoppy goodness.
Hops: Amarillo, Cascade, Columbus
Malt: Pale, Crystal, Wheat

22. Thanks a and a and d! Very nice treat. Pours a crystal clear burnished golden medium amber with a thin white head. Bright grapefruit and pine nose. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Toasty caramel mid palate with bright grapefruity tang and a ling crisp biting resiny finish.

Draft at the brewery. Semi cloudy yellow amber pour, with a white head. Citrus, sweet bread, caramel, herbal, bittering hops, sugar, and some alcohol. Not dry enough for my tastes and the body is heavy.

Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours hazy amber with a small and sticky beige head leaving great lacing. Nose is aggresively hopped up grapefruit and tropical tones. Very grassy stuff. Heavy pine in the taste with a load of grapefruit. Quite tangy and bitter. Aggressive without being too muddled. Good stuff

Rich hazy light brown, copper, caramel and bronze body with a luscious three centimetre tall tan head - very nice. Aroma of resin, pine, grapefruit, passionfruit and quite a bit of malt. Full-bodied; Deep rich flavour of hops, malt, alcohol, fruit, caramel and a dense piney and resinous finish. Aftertaste shows a lot of depth, but a noticeable hoppy flavour coupled with a good malt balance, a lot of alcohol and a very resinous, piney hoppiness which shows decently. Overall, a decent Imperial IPA, but perhaps showing too much resinous and piney hops and too much alcohol and bitterness. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Total Wine in Tustin, California on 02-May-2013 for US$5.99 sampled at home in Washington four days before heading out to Southern California again on 02-June-2013.
