Strykzone (7854) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - MAR 30, 2016
Bomber from hayduke that we had together via facebook chat. Deep amber red with an almost gushing beige head. A light aroma of fruit, Vienna style malts, and gentle spices. The flavor is similar but does bring light Noble hops. And later some sulfur is noted. Some yeast, too. This is pleasant if unremarkable.

hayduke (5748) - Eureka, California, USA - MAR 30, 2016
This was a joint tasting with Strykzone on Facebook Chat. Pours red amber with a big beige head. . Nose of caramel malts. Medium body and very smooth mouth feel. Flavor is malty, with some dried fruit, light spice and a dry fruity finish. Simple, but drinks smooth and easily.

fordest (2469) - Santee/San Diego, California, USA - FEB 24, 2016
Draft at Eastbound. Not too bad for the style. I don’t know how it stacks up to the others that I have had, but I would order this again while wearing lederhosen

Capa (3718) - DC, Washington DC, USA - NOV 27, 2015
Dark copper. Rusty malt, caramel sweetness, a bit of earth, bread. Medium bodied. A bit too malty, heavy, for a great ’fest brew.

bhensonb (16132) - Woodland, California, USA - OCT 16, 2015
Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours brownish copper with a white head. Aroma of light caramel. Near med body. Flavor is caramel, mild spice (something like pumpkin spice or nutmeg in a light way). Finishes malty, but drier than expected.

marcus (10975) - Sacramento, California, USA - OCT 12, 2015
On tap at Capitol Beer & Tap Room. Pours copper with a thick beige head and a toffee aroma. There is a smoky mixed malt flavor with a dry bitter finish.

Ibrew2or3 (8989) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - DEC 31, 2014
22oz bomber pours with a clear amber to copper body that supports a nice tan head. The aroma offers up some mild malty roastiness, sweet lagery fruity esters and then a slight yeasty spiciness. The taste delivers the same sugary malt sweetness, a dash of roasted malts, apple and lightly peach lagery sweet fruity esters. To midway the mild roasted malts and lagery sweet fruity esters grow right into the finish. Pretty solid lager where there’s some mild spicy to earthy Noble hops.

mikedR (1561) - Gilbert, Arizona, USA - DEC 23, 2014
Overall, quite splendid. It’s not the best of breed, and for the ABV, I want more flavor. But I do like this one.

nealblind (2035) - Seattle, Alabama, USA - OCT 19, 2014
Red brown. Tobacco, rubber aromas, zesty grains. Something’s off here. Tastes funky and grainy, autumn leaves. More flavor than usual in oktoberfest, but not clean flavors.

thorongil2 (3636) - , Ontario, CANADA - SEP 14, 2014
(tap) clear, bright light amber colour with a small tan head; aroma of candy; clean, light, soda-like flavour
