[4876-20121027] Cask. Smells like barbecue pork. Black brown body with a quick bubbly head. Initial barbecue blossoms into a hot chipotle everything. Hot hot hot body. All chipotle. (6/3/3/2/8) 2.2

Cask at Cask Days 2012. Seventh beer of the fest. Pours totally black with a spare beige head. Really spicy aroma and flavour! Lots of chipotle, jalapeno and other spices. I can’t get over how big and spicy the flavour is, it’s almost mouth-burning. Medium bodied. I like it but a small glass of it is all I can handle. October 27, 2012 - 8th Annual Volo Cask Days. More or less clear black pour with a minimal beige head. Aroma is vaguely sweet and earthy and ... burn-y. Tastes .. well, for about half a second I was getting something like root beer and plum, then it somehow magically changed to battery acid. It was stingy and bitey and I had to go sit down and wait for my tongue to stop crying. jercraigs (10365) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 29, 2012
2012-10-27. Dark brown-black headless body. 3+ Big burny peppery aroma. 6+ I am told it had a lovely chipotle flavour with some depth and refinement to it, the kind of thing you might like to cook a fine meal with. I couldn’t tell you since my experience was a much more superficial examination of the "Oh that’s not so bad... wait... Holy **! Gahhhh!!!!" variety. Average bodied palate. Paired nicely with the chili chocolate. An experience more than a beverage. Cask Days 2012 at Brick Works, Toronto rob6239 (677) - Ontario, CANADA - OCT 28, 2012
Pours dark black with slight foamy head - on cask at Toronto’s Cask Days festival. Some good strong smoke coming from the aroma but the chipotle spice is very overpowering in the taste and tickles the back of your throat as you drink. I wish I could buy it again.
