[3770-20110623] Fruity yellow mango and pomegranate papaya juice aroma. Slightly hazy, medium orange body with no lasting head. Juicy papaya flavour has a sweet aftertaste. Medium body. More like a cocktail than a beer. (6/2/6/3/11) 2.8+

Cask. Dull orange pour. The aroma is a little bit tropical, but there is also an unusual sort of phenolic yeast character that I could do without. The papaya seems to lend an odd sort of minty character (unripe fruit and seeds) rather than the fruity papaya flesh flavour. Another miss for me.

2011-06-25. Hazy orange body small bubbly white head. Pretty strong fruit flavour, papaya, yeasty fruity undercurrent, odd sort of rind like fruit notes in the finish is sort of melon like. Aroma is similar, fruity, papaya seems a touch more "green" somehow but I can’t articulate why. Melon rind? Smooth average plus bodied palate. Decent, your enjoyment of the beer will likely be proportional to your love for papaya. Cask at C’est What Festival of Small Breweries
