November 30, 2012 - on cask at Volo. Hazy gold with amber highlights and a beautiful frothy lasting soft-looking creamy head. Aroma is pretty simple - mildly grainy pale ale, somewhat floral, not overly sweet, not all that bitter, has a little citrus zest, and a tartness I assume comes from the goji fruit. Taste is also soft, grainier, not much citrus, a little more green fruit "goji" tartness, but not too much (7-). Average body, soft and airy mouthfeel, finishes quickly with a slightly gummy wildflower/acidic aftertaste. Pleasant, nothing special, a tad mild, no probs finishing the pint. blankboy (7884) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 20, 2012
Cask at Volo, Nov. 30. Pours a slightly hazy golden-orange with a small long-lasting fizzy off-white head. Aroma is sweet and fruity along with malt and a touch of sourness. Flavour is interesting, it’s fruity, a touch sour and bitter. Average to medium bodied. Pretty good stuff.
