Tallboy from LCBO. Pours a fairly big frothy beige head, leaves some thick dirty lacing, has a hazy golden appearance. Good retention. Medium carbonation. Aromas of caramel, earthy, resin, floral and citrus hops. Flavours are mostly floral and citrus hops, some strong notes of toasty and caramel malt. Subtle hints of spices in the mix. Medium body, creamy, thick feel. Has a nice bitter and astringent finish. Pretty good stuff! BrewWhatIWant (277) - Ontario, CANADA - JUL 31, 2017
Pours dark amber with a decent white head. Aroma is pine and malt. Taste is fairly bitter with enough sweet to soften it. There are notes of resin, caramel, pine and nutty malt. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. A really good IPA with well integrated hop and malt profiles. A welcome surprise. jfrancis1993 (2) - Ontario, CANADA - MAY 21, 2017 does not count
Beautifully crafted beer. Nice roasted taste, but jot to strong. Very enjoyable once beastly cold. Arcanor (421) - Quebec, CANADA - APR 24, 2017
650ml bottle no date. Pour dark orange with copper reflexions. Nice dense creamy whit foam. Aroma is malty not much more than that. Same for the taste. Bitter, creamy feel, low carbonation. My guess is that bottle is not very fresh. Next time put a date on your bottle.... Quevillon (3155) - Boisbriand, Quebec, CANADA - APR 22, 2017
650 ml bottle puchase at LCBO Hawkesbury on April 8, 2017. Dark honey gold, medium head. Sweet hoppy barley aroma, light notes of peach. Sweet alcoholic peach taste, ok hoppiness, notes of bitter dry herbs. I would have like it more 8 years ago, I think!

From tap. Pours clear and golden orange with a small tan head. Aroma is pine and slight fruity. Bitter, fruity, pine. Citrusy and grapefruity. Lingering smooth fruity finish. mikkopen (1191) - Guelph, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 13, 2017
650 ml bottle. Hazy amber colour, thick off-white head. Aroma of caramel malt, resin and sweet fruits. The flavour is malty, with mango, citrus fruits and notes of caramel, and a lingering bitter finish of grass and pine. Very tasty. GlennHendry (490) - OSHAWA, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 6, 2016
It smells like a patch of sweet clover in a dark and forbidding pine forest. The taste is all pine. Jack Pine, like from a Group of Seven painting, in fact; all gnarly and bitter and delicious. A long-time favourite. DanDan_ (82) - Ontario, CANADA - OCT 21, 2016
UPDATED: OCT 11, 2017 Grabbed the last bottle of this stuff off the shelf. Pours almost deep copper/amber with a small thick white head. Has a deep hop aroma, resiny pine and slight citrus. Lots of soapiness/malt on the taste and for some reason I get a punch of cedar. Lots of bitterness, oily texture, soft carbonation and long bitter finish. Really awesome beer, I can only wonder what hops are in here! (2016/10/21: 6+4+8+4+17=3.9)

2017/10/11: Was excited to find this in can version instead of the previous 750mL: Almost transparent copper/amber with small white head. Faint hop aroma, some malt/caramel. Bitter taste, with alcohol showing pretty well. Felt overly thin compared to the memory of the last one. Did not enjoy as much as last time. (6+3+5+3+15=3.2)
Clear dark amber color with dense activity. Creamy beige 2 finger head, lasting around 5-10 minutes, with good legs. Flavors of pineapples, orange, mango, lemon, caramel, butter, sweet grains, floral and herbal spices. A little sweet with tropical fruits and bitter piney hops. Slick oily medium body with prickly carbonation. Strong finish, long tongue coating and astringent feel of thick grassy piney hops tar and very sharp citrus. A little excessive, acidic, and missing some freshness. The flavors are nice, yet quickly overwhelmed by the heavy finish. Lacking a little balance. Overall good quality craft, very good if you like highly bitter IPAs.
