Bourbon, bourbon, bourbon! On tap at brewery. Pours very dark amber with beige head that dissipates fast. Nice lacing. Nose is tons of bourbon, some molasses, figs, chocolate, dark ripe fruit. Full in the mouth with med to low carb. Taste is much like nose, but lasts for days. Alcohol is noticeable. Dark fruits more robust. Good beer but wish there was a bit more Belgian aspect and less bourbon.
Darker than the base and missing some of the red hues.
Definitely more alcohol though still just warming (not overly hot). Sweeter, with some vanilla and oak a little more up front than the dark fruit and bready yeast. Nice sipper. AirForceHops (7243) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - JUL 3, 2017
375 ml bottle from a trade with Adrien. 2016 vintage, gold wax top. Color is Deep brown, small thin head. Color shows me a deep clear brown. Big full aroma of raisins, molasses and bourbon. Taste is light fruit, light caramel, with a mild bourbon with just a slight hint of warming alcohol. Mild vanilla hints (from bourbon) The body is medium plus with a slick body. Not feeling the booze right away, burn comes late for just a small duration.
Really, really nice. WillRunForBeer (2652) - Massachusetts, USA - JUL 3, 2017

From the bottle, dark and rich in vanilla, oak, and molasses. Thick mouthfeel, warming alcohol, and lots of complex sugars. A very nice beer indeed. IrishBoy (4200) - Bakersfield, California, USA - MAR 19, 2017

Very dark with a beige head. Bourbon, oak, vanilla, dark fruit, candies brown sugar, and lightly toasted dough. Full bodied. Plenty of bourbon in the finish. Not as boozy as I thought. Very well done. Gerbeer (3756) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 6, 2016

Nice Vanilla and bourbon notes with a tapioca tone. Good sweet smooth finish without being cloying. Overall a good example of a bourbon barrel aged beer. jsnicholas (628) - Woodinville, Washington, USA - SEP 3, 2015
