Medium brown color. Sweet coconut and roasted malt in the nose. Smooth sweet malty mouth with lots of coconut, cacao and molasses. A bit simple but not bad.

Capa (3251) - Kitsap, Washington, USA - APR 5, 2017
Brown with a tan head. Some roasted malt with light amounts of dark fruit. Im struggling to find the coconut. Medium to thin body. Sweet finish. A decent beer.

Alphadelic (2235) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAR 30, 2017
Im really not sure about this one at all. Its very metallic all the way through. Light bodied, a little touch of caramel but the whole thing is a bit stale and hollow. The coconut is almost invisible also.

JStax (6356) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - JAN 20, 2017
12 ounce can poured into a brandy snifter. The beer is a dark brown with a beige head of foam. The aroma has roasty chocolate, fruity coconut, and coffee beans. Faint vanilla comes through as well. Subtly sweet and roasty. Coconut comes out more as it warms. Overall, this is a very good beer. I would drink this again.

furthur (1160) - Eagle River, Alaska, USA - OCT 17, 2016
Growler, almost black beer, almond colored head, decent lace. Aroma is chocolate, coffee, coconut. Taste is coffee, coconut, sour cherries, chocolate. Palate is kind of light, carbonation moderate. This is nice and toasty.

tcon25 (821) - Duvall, Washington, USA - AUG 25, 2016
Draft pour at brewery into a 6oz taster, alongside the coffee Jones, almost black pour amber hint. Aroma is mostly of coconut. Flavor is chocolate, coffee and coconut finish, not overwhelming so not to bad, well balance of flavors.

3.2
tmoreau (4297) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - AUG 20, 2016
Shared bomber poured to snifters showing a black/brown hue, with a modest layer of tan head foam, and light spots of lacing. The nose was lightly roasted, earthy, & nutty, with cocoa, subtle coffee, and a hint of toasted coconut that nearly escaped detection behind the other notes, Less than medium bodied, with average carbonation, the taste followed similarly with diminished expression, and texture that was rather thin.

3.7
Gerbeer (3697) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 9, 2016
650 ml bottle. Pours a clear dark brown with reddish notes and full head. Aromas of nuts. sugar and oily roasted malts. Flavors of nutty milk chocolate, light coconut, and dry roasted malts. Very dry for the ABV. Nice.
