COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer was born out of the joy of late night double batch brewing. The whirring of the pumps and the wails of David Byrne led us to this new IPA idea. Built on a simple malt base this IPA will let the hops talk straight to your head. The hope behind this beer was to make a low alcohol IPA that has the same hop aroma and flavor profile of a standard IPA & even some double IPAs out there. Take a sip, sit back and ask yourself, can I get used to this lifestyle? Well, with a bouquet of hop aroma blasting us in the face and fruit flavors of peach, nectarine, & grapefruit backed up with a clean/dry bitterness leaving us wanting more, we sure can. Available quarterly.

On tap, pours an orange color with a medium white head that leaves great lacing. Smells of floral, tropical, citrus, and pine. Tastes of all the same things in the smell. Mouthfeel is medium and creamy with good carbonation. Overall this is a really tasty lighter ipa. Black Raven always makes quality stuff.

Poured from a bomber into a tumbler on 08.15.14. A: Flower and grapefruit. A: See through gold/yellow. T: Flower dominates, living up to the name. Tropical fruit and slight peach are subtle. P: Watery, but it’s a session IPA. O: This was a very light session IPA. There are even better, and more flavorful, session APAs than this one. It wasn’t bad, but just not flavorful enough for the style.

Draft pour at Frankies pizza. Pours a light golden color with a foamy head. Very soft, mild floral hops aroma. Light sweet fruit front with a good balance of hops. Very gentle flavored beer, and a good one true to the style. Easy drinking. Very nice beer.

Bottle:   Translucent orange, fairly bright, mild carbonation, moderate head, white lacing, fairly nice too.   Soft tea leaves and perhaps a little fruitiness on the nose.   Not as fruity on the tongue, but a somewhat stronger tea leaf presense.   Light sweetness, light bitterness, moderate body and mouthfeel.   Smooth too.   Nothing out of the ordinary, but a solid example.

UPDATED: SEP 4, 2016 Golden tan body, decent head. Indeed the nose is flowery with touches of rose water and baby powder and a mild hop leafyness. Easy bitterness, and lightly flowery. More of a light APA than a session IPA. Not bad. Easy drinking, but nice flavor. Re-rated 9-3-16 - similar experience as the first tasting, but this time I enjoyed it more. Nice flowery hop and aroma and flavor with a mild, watery leafyness. Really sessionable

Amber in color, clear with a thin head. Super Session IPA great flavors and finish. Big hops presence with the lack of high alcohol which makes for a great day drinking more.
