Draft at WABL fest. Pours a slight hazed golden with a small tight head nose is void of the classic Wit character and more on the Saison side. Dry and crisp with a lot of green fresh peach skin and dried pit. Light and crisp in flavor...wheaty, dry saison yeast, dried peach pit with hints of flesh, lacto tartness. Really wish they made more of this as this was the only time I saw it last year. riversideAK (6261) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - NOV 26, 2009
Medium amount of peach skins on the nose on top of basic wit aromas. Soft spice and wheat. Pouts light yellow with a thin head. The flavor is earthy and a little tart - peach pits and skins. Followed by soft sweet wit notes underneath. Dry finish. Super drinkable and quenching.
