12oz at flock party. Drinks as a fine coke flavor with a hint of vanilla and bourbon. Really focuses on the cola flavor unfortunately but pretty fantastic. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: APR 28, 2016 Bottle, dark reddish amber, no head. Aroma is malt, whiskey, vanilla, oak. Taste is bourbon, vanilla, oak, malt, raisin, cherries. Palate is rich and thick. My palate is off tonight, even this seems like it has a hoppy bitter finish. Rerating this, taste buds some better tonight and this is great beer. Anise, candy sugar, oak, bourbon and vanilla, cherries and figs.

Bomber from Malt and Vine. Pours clear and ruddy with a transient beige head. Aroma. Is very smoky. More single malt here than bourbon. Backed up with darkish fruit. Med + body. Flavor is smoky, fruity, bourbon, wood, heat. This has a really nice mix of flavors. Heat is not at all annoying.

UPDATED: NOV 30, 2016 Draft 6 oz pour at Brouwers Big Wood. 2014 vintage. Pours a clear reddish copper with a fading head. Play dough like aroma and flavor. Weird. Sweet malty finish. Play dough. Seriously. UPDATE: Draft 2016 version, at the brewery. Always fun to compare. Already like it fresh much better. More of a roasted malt character other than the overly sweet bready malt. Hints of dark fruit and vanilla. Slight oak. Toasty finish. Very nice beer here. I dont know if its this years version, or the fact that its fresh, that makes this so much better. Tasty.

Bottle. Brown pour with tan head. Some bourbon, than a total take over of scotch and woody tones. Strong alcohol, oak, peat and spice tones.

Prufrockstar (2018) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - NOV 16, 2014
Draft at Chucks. Pours clear dark copper with no head. Aroma is dominated by bourbon. So much bourbon -- like a whiskey cream soda cocktail if they make such things. If they dont, then maybe they should. Taste is sweet, boozy, dark fruit and molasses mixed with the aforementioned whiskey cream soda cocktail. Palate: full body, syrupy texture.

Draught at Elizabeth Station, Bellingham
Dark amber color, clear. The aroma is mildly vinous, oxidized, whiskey barrel. Lean body, quite sweet, but the booze balances the sweetness; caramel flavor, with bourbon whiskey; low bitterness.
May be pleasant to drink, but its simplistic, and its messy.
