Draft. Large white head atop clear straw body. Aroma is medium sweet, berry, wheat. Taste is moderately sweet, beryl, some wheat, light bread. Effervescent light body.

Clean yellow pour with creamy white head and lace. Aroma is wheat, clove and banana. Flavor is papery wheat, clove, banana, with a lot of fruity esters. Medium bodied and fizzy. BL SW

Flight at brewery. Very pale color, clear. I think it’s a well executed. Just enough banana aroma to make it a definite weizen but clean and clear with just a slightly muddled malt - a bit vegetal white bread. A mineral quality. Decent stuff for this style.

Draught at Elizabeth Station, Bellingham
Blond color, clear. Smell of corn and stale water. Dry and weak mouthfeel, some wheat, otherwise poor flavor; low bitterness.

maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - SEP 13, 2014
Draught at SB. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head on there. Nose seems to have quite a bit of wheat in there, with come corn coming through. Taste is pretty light and moderately wheaty, but without a lot of substance to it. Meh.

mcberko (17830) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 17, 2014
On tap at Black Raven, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma is very dry and dull, with dry cereal notes. Flavour is dry, with dry cereal and crackery malt. Bone dry and drinkable, but pretty boring.

TimE (5817) - Tokyo, JAPAN - MAY 24, 2014
Light body, very wheaty character with a touch of straw. Decent amount of hops. Good character for a crystal Weizen, but still fairly straight forward simple beer.

Draft pour at 192. Very light pour with little head. Hints of banana flavor. Happened to be in the mood for something lighter, and overall I thought this was a great beer.

Prufrockstar (2132) - Moscow, Idaho, USA - SEP 5, 2013
Draft at Black Raven. Aroma: Clove, banana, toast and bread.

Appearance: Clear, extremely pale straw/golden in color.

Taste: Toast, biscuit. Lasting biscuit in the finish. Mild.

Palate: Light body, lively carbonation, thin texture.

Overall: Could down a lot of these on a hot summer day. Not a style I’m well-versed in, so taking my rating with a grain of salt.

Tried at the Black Raven tap house in Redmond. Light in color can definitely taste the subtle clove taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
