Draft. Medium beige head atop clear dark red-brown body. Aroma is moderately sweet, chococaramel, some nut. Taste is moderately sweet, roast, some nut, light earthy, caramel. Light-medium body, light stickiness. andrewje41 (4415) - Kenmore, Washington, USA - JUN 18, 2015
Draft pour pint at the brewery. Pours a dark reddish brown color with a cream foam head. Mild nutty, chocolate aroma. Flavor is a nice roasted flavor with hints of coffee. Chocolate candy in the late palate. Has a bitterness to it in the finish as well. Enjoy the toasty flavor here. Good brown here. Or porter? Not sure. It’s good though. fiulijn (21470) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 14, 2014

Dark brown color with compact head. Dark caramel, but with a dusty character, some roasted nuts, some old coffee; ordinary bitterness; the mouthfeel is rather dry.
On tap at the brewery, deep brown with a light tan foam. Toast and nut aroma with a little caramel. Medium body is sweet. Roasted coffee near the finish. ilsaconsume (11) - Washington, USA - AUG 7, 2014
Toasty coffee biscuit. Not much going on in the nose - the flavor hits in the mouth with a sweet and bitter coffee. Surprisingly light with a sprightly mouth feel for a porter. If you tasted it it blind you might not guess its porter nature until after you swallow and the malty bitterness has a chance to show.

Draft at tap room. Unusual brown ale. Seems to have a sweetness kind of like a scotch ale. Lighter than I expected desurfer (1302) - Melbourne, Florida, USA - JUN 4, 2014
Draft. Medium mahogany body with little head. Roasty and sweet, but on the lighter side. Not bad. luttonm (6858) - Seattle, Washington, USA - FEB 27, 2014
Draft at their taphouse. Dark grain, good foam. Very tasty, forward ale. Smooth sweet body, the slightest bit lactic. Nice, tasty beer. Smurf2055 (1400) - Seattle, Washington, USA - FEB 14, 2014

Smell nutty sweet and roasty
Taste sweet nutty, light roast and chocolate
Filled a growler and poured into pint glass. Decent head, light tan in color. A very dark brown in color. Not much going on in terms of aroma. Mild sweetness and a bit nutty. Very good lace trails the sips. Well balanced porter, lower body. Mouthfeel was average with a lingering bitterness. I don’t think this will be a go-to beer for me but it will work for most beer geeks but probably not for the true porter connoisseur.
