Amber color with compact head. The aroma is hoppy, a bit fruity. Dry and lean mouthfeel, toasty malts flavor, and good bitterness level; the hops are quite resiny.
On tap at Brouwer’s Cafe, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Nose brings out biscuit malt, piney hops, and dry zesty notes. Flavour is very dry, with biscuity zesty malt, floral hops, and herbal piney notes. Very smooth and dry. Great IPA. Oakes (19426) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 8, 2015
Seattle Taproom, Seatac. Golden-Amber with a frothy head. Aroma is dry and woody. Chewy up front, with a caramel forward with dryish hop note. Sort of old school but not really - a lighter malt chewiness, with some biscuit. I guess I’d prefer not to talk so much about the malt when drinking IPA but ok. jtclockwork (17654) - , New Jersey, USA - JUL 24, 2017

On tap @ Seattle Tap Room. Amber in color with a sticky white head. Not very nice. Just a lot of lemon and grass with a strong caramel malt profile. At least it smells okay and decently citrusy, but the flavor is just not all that good. Lots of toffee and caramel sweetness with a rather pronounced tea bitterness and astringency. Slight apricot and peach in there, too. A few redeeming qualities, but overall unpleasant. djd07 (16307) - Houston, Texas, USA - NOV 29, 2016

Sample at the brewpub. This beer pours a clear amber-orange color with a medium off-white head that evaporates slowly. Rings of lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of fresh citrus, hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of floral hops, citrus and caramel malt. The finish is hoppy with a grapefruity aftertaste. Above average overall.
