Bottled. Golden coloured. Unclear. Dense offwhite head. Aroma of sweetness, spice, fruits and yeast. Flavour of ripe fruits, spice, spice, alcohol. Medium bodied. Fruity and alcoholdense end with a psicy touch.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of scrizzz. Pours golden with a slight haze and a small white head. Sweet malty and fruity nose. Solid body, huge malt base, a little low in carbonation, sweet malt and some overripe fruit and some Belgian yeast. Very subdued bitterness. Nice alright. 221110

Lots of sediment in this gold beer. Tons of yeast in the flavor and aroma, Belgian yeast. Sweet, typical for the style. Well carbonated. Some coriander and spice. Very much like a tripel.

Received 22-oz bomber from scrizzz via trade (bottle 77 of 480). Pours a clear golden pale colored brew containing particles, and a fast dissolving off-white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, a hint of cloves, bubble gum, and a touch of honeydew. Taste is medium bodied, a little spicy with flavors of Belgian yeast, bubble gum, yeast and some golden grain malt. Finish is semi-tart, mild bitter that quickly disappears and some lingering yeast aftertaste.

Pours deep brown/black with off white head, aroma is nice caramel, dark fruit, touch of aged hops, and some belgian spice. Taste is like a nice chocolate belgian cake, with raisin and dark fruit leading into some bitter chocolate and hops with a fairly sweet finish. nice brew!

A decent offering, well worth the money and i’d definitely get it again. Just didn’t knock my socks off. I was a little tanked when this got poured, overcarbonated, weird, i drank a few sips then left for a burrito.

750 ml bottle poured a clear gold with a lasting creamy white head. Aromas of straw, pear, earthiness, white pepper and citrus. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of straw, earthiness, lemon and white pepper with a smooth dry finish.

750ml bottle from RiversideAK, big thanks for this one man! One of the coolest bottles and labels I’ve seen. Pours a lightly hazed golden orange with a creamy off white head that left behind some great lacing. Light spice, citrus and grassy hops in the nose. Off dry on the palate with citrus and spice.

ricke (476) - Malme, SWEDEN - MAY 22, 2010
Bottle. Hazy pale orange with a small ivory head. The smell is of light malts, bananas, bubblegum, yeast, grass and mild spices. Clean and tidy character. The flavor is spot on for what I have come to know as American interpretations of Belgian strong pale ales. It’s fairly sweet and yeasty with notes of bubblegum and spices, with notes of grass. Very clean flavors and it lacks the edginess one finds in many of the Belgian originals. The finish is mild with faint phenolic alcohol, malts and yeast. Medium body, mild carbonation. A decent take on a Belgian ale.
