Pours a cloudy straw color. Hints of lemon clove. Tasted at the tap house. Enjoyed the beer.

Draught @ Brouwer’s Café: Very pale straw, cloudy, thin to moderate frothy white head, nice lacing. Soft citrusy nose, moreso spiced like coriander and grains of paradise. Similar tongue, wheaty, clean, a bit hefty too. Not as light as other examples, but that’s just fine. Big lemon aspect towards the exit, a little artificial at times. More spicy than most, but also a little medicinal in its approach as its sometimes a bit too fragrant in that candle sense. Body and mouthfeel are moderate. Finishes wheaty, spicy, and generaly pleasing for a nice warm spring day. No substitute for most Belgians, but otherwise fairly tastefully done for an American example. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - APR 23, 2013
Draft at ebp. Pours a cloudy and very pale gold with a dense and fizzy white head. Loose stringy white lace. Big lemon and clove nose. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Lemon and clove on the mid palate with a nice lightly spiced finish. Great body and very flavorful...good wit.
