Folklore and mythology present the raven as an omniscient creature with special powers and abilities. The Wisdom Seeker Double IPA gets its special powers from an enormous amount of hops and malted barley. Brewed in the West coast Double IPA style, this bold brew features massive citrus and herbal hop additions and a full hop aroma. Seek your wisdom cautiously; this hop feast packs a punch.

ABUSEDGOAT (2870) - California, USA - MAY 31, 2017
Clear amber with a white head. Aroma is grapefruit, citrus, pine, caramel, light peach. Medium bodied, moderate bitterness.

Pours a clear amber with a small white head and very good lacing. Smell is citrus, orange, touch of pine, caramel, and hops. Taste is slightly creamy, nicely bitter, malt in back, and tangerine.

Tasted from bottle. Pours a pretty clear orange amber with a white head. Aroma is a lot of orange citrus with some grapefruit and resin. Taste is moderate to heavily bitter with a nice malt backbone. Flavor has more pine and resin with some citrus fruit. A little herbal notes. Very well done imperial IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Location: 22 oz purchased through Tavour
Appearance: Dark amber. Finger of white foam. Nice lace
Nose: Pine, musty corners, grapefruit and pineapple.
Taste: Hop forward, strong pine and tropical fruits. Bitter. Touch of sweetness.
Body: medium with nice sharp carbonation
Parting thoughts: a very nice DIPA. Good hop profile.

Uber, Seattle. Rich gold, clear, foamy lingering head. Bitter, pithy fruit. Orange, grass, rosemary and other herbs. Bright, interesting juicy orange-citrus. Better than I had expected. I dig it.
