Backlog. On tap at Green Lion Inn. A decent beer, just nothing special about it. yngwie (17053) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - DEC 31, 2011
On tap at Ølfestival 2011. It pours a black body topped by a dense, finger-thick light brown head. Licorice, roasted malts, some coffee and alcohol, and sweetness on the nose. The flavor is maybe a bit on the sweet side, with roasted malts and coffee to keep it company. Full-bodied and almost sticky on the palate, yet smooth, even though there’s also a bit too much carbonation. Roasted finish with sweetness and some coffee. Nothing extraordinary going on here, but it’s a nice beer, that’s for sure. 100528 Nightfall (1307) - Hamburg, GERMANY - DEC 5, 2011
