2010-vintage: A slightly muddy brown color that carries the smell of hops and gasoline (!!?). Its also rather hoppy on in the mouth, but the body is rather thin but delicious. It tastes nice with hints of plum, prunes and apricots and it hasnt got any of the nauseating malt sweetness that characterizes too many brown ales. Good, long bitter aftertaste.

50cl, as The Pros and Cons of Christmas, new exclusive Danish brew Anno 2009, thx to MadsNP!, not complex brew, spicy, yet balanced, hazy, rocky head, nice X-Mas brew, but expensive!

[email protected] BeerFest2010. Hazy amber colour with small beige head. Aroma is spices, fruits, wood, some grassyness as well. Flavour is sweet malts, some earth, mild wood as well as some earthy and spicy notes. A rather spicy brew, but would probably fit the Xmas table rather well.

Sampled @ Copenhagen Beer Festival 2010. Hazy, dark brown body with a medium off-white head. Aroma is slightly spicy, light roasted malt and dry fruit. Flavor is malt, caramel, some chocolate, dry fruit and balanced bitter. Its quite straightforward, but very nice, balanced and well made. I just really, really like this one.
