Draught at Copenhagen Beer Festival. Hazy mahogany colour, small head. Toffee aroma. Sweet and fruity with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Caramelly with a whiffoforange, salty spicy somewhat resiny finish. Quite harmonious. Papsoe (25056) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 5, 2010
Bottle 50 cl. Pours a slightly hazy amber with a nice and creamy off-white head. Aroma is roasted malts - hops are rather subdued. Medium body, really a malt showcase this one, lovely roasted malts with a whiff of ashes - fortunately the X-mas spices are very downplayed. Hops and malts duel to add bitterness to the finish. A solid and well made Brown Ale. 050410 Rasmus40 (21989) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - FEB 2, 2011
