"Beers for bottling are drawn from brewery conditioning tanks and transported by road tanker to our bottlers. There they are chilled, stored for ten days, then filtered and bottled. At the end of the bottling process, the bottles are pasteurised, labelled and packed."
"Brewed with many generous handfuls of choice Golding hops, it is full flavoured ale with a rich fruit nose. The bittersweet malty taste is followed by an uncompromising long, dry and bitter finish. This beer was the first, most successful, of all of our bottled beers."

Bottle from local supermarket. Backlog rating from bottle collection and historic scoring. No tasting notes kept, just rating.

Piepenhenrich (589) - Steinbach, GERMANY - SEP 9, 2017
Decent Bitter. Boasts a fine balance of malty and fruity aromas and flavors like a good Ale and a gentle but reasonably intense hoppy bitterness. Like.

UPDATED: SEP 4, 2017 Great brown bitter beer Maybe it's not for everyone cause of his strong bitterness

Bottle from Super Fine Wine and Liquor. Aroma is bitter, fruity, caramel, toffee, light earthy hop presence, good. Appearance is reddish brown, light tan fess, clear. Taste is bitter, dark fruit, caramel, toffee, crisp, earthy, good. Mouthfeel is light body, light crisp carbonation, bitter dark fruit skins aftertaste. Overall, this one is pretty enjoyable.

50cl bottle from a shop Bugibba. Brownish color, clear creamy offwhite head. Smell of wet cereals. Aroma of weak malts, light roasted, earth. Light bitter taste, quite flat with some caramel. Weird.

Clear, brown/orange liquid. Average head. Strong aroma of yeast. Light body, strong carbonation. Taste is bitter, very weak.

erikaraeb (262) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 17, 2017
Tastes of toast and fleeting sweetness are immediately overwhelmed by an unpleasant bitterness with a coppery, astringent finish. Not much body or flavour otherwise. Perhaps I’m unappreciative of such a style.

Thomatito (132) - SWITZERLAND - MAY 18, 2017
0,5l bottle. Nose: raisins, light caramel. Taste: slight burnt caramel, relatively big bitterness.

tfredvik (2008) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 16, 2017
Clear, pale copper body with a small, off-white head that doesn’t stick to the glass. Moderate aroma of wort, cereals and fruits. Moderate flavour of cereals, sweet caramel, pale malts, chalk and metallic hints. Lights sweet and light bitter taste. Light and dry on the palate, pretty watery, moderate carbonation. A strange one, maybe a bad bottle?
[33 cl bottle enjoyed at my hotel room at Hilton London Paddington, from Nisa Local Paddington]
