COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle; Pasteurised.
"Beers for bottling are drawn from brewery conditioning tanks and transported by road tanker to our bottlers. There they are chilled, stored for ten days, then filtered and bottled. At the end of the bottling process, the bottles are pasteurised, labelled and packed."
"Brewed with many generous handfuls of choice Golding hops, it is full flavoured ale with a rich fruit nose. The bittersweet malty taste is followed by an uncompromising long, dry and bitter finish. This beer was the first, most successful, of all of our bottled beers."

Bottle. Pours a clear copper amber with a thick off white head. Aroma is mostly dough, some yeast and caramel. Maybe some slight dark fruits. Flavour is slightly bitter with a long dry finish.

Clear, pale copper body with a small, off-white head that doesnt stick to the glass. Moderate aroma of wort, cereals and fruits. Moderate flavour of cereals, sweet caramel, pale malts, chalk and metallic hints. Lights sweet and light bitter taste. Light and dry on the palate, pretty watery, moderate carbonation. A strange one, maybe a bad bottle?

I poured it from the bottle into a glass. It pours copper with a big, off-white head. The aroma is earthy, bread, and caramel. The taste is caramel, bread, earthiness, and fruit. Its a smooth drinkable beer with nice flavor.

Bottle. Copper/dark gold in colour. Good creamy off-white head. Good lacing. Malty; toasted biscuity malts, buttery caramel. Yeasty. Fruity; citrus-orange. Hoppy; grassy and earthy hops. Moderately bitter malty yeasty and fruity throughout. Dry earthy and slightly metallic. Bitter dry malty finish. An OK sessionable bottled bitter. (2016-04-09)

4/11/16 bottle at home. Good malty bitter. Maybe a bit too dry and crisp. But still a nice Yorkshire ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Woody aroma. Bronze with finger or so of head. Very dry ale, very British. Slowly some woody vanilla notes come out and a pleasant bitterness lingers. Nice story behind it, but it just reminds me of a super dry pub ale. Satisfying.
