500 ml bottle courtesy of Peter. Golden with a big bubbled, rocky, tanned head leaving a fair lacing. Hoppy, malty tobacco aroma. Sweet, acidic and bitter with an acidic and juicy finish. Medium body. Medium carbonation. hawthorne00 (3949) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - APR 3, 2011
Bottle. Cloudy light amber with a coat of off-white head. Aroma of lemon, pears, a little bread.Thinnish body. Fruity taste without much sweetness, a fair bit of citrus, a little biscuity malt. Mildly bitter finish. Carbonation is not huge but enough to make it a little lively. mike_77 (6668) - Breda, NETHERLANDS - MAR 21, 2011
Roasted, nutty malt aroma. A little oak comes through too. Flavour is quite bitter from the roasted malt. Hop freshness comes through at the end.

Bottle at home with Lyoli. Pours clear gold with a modest, white head. Some honey, malts and yeast on the nose. Flavor is lightly sweet, faintly bready with some kind of tart citrus. Light to medium in body with lively carbonation. Finishes very crisp with fine, citrus bitters, mild sugars and hints of alcohol. Decent.

Bottle on 10/2/11. Nice golden colour as the name suggests. Fruity nose with quite a hint of raisins and sultanas. Decent white head. Fruity taste as well - much fruitier than I was expecting. pivnizub (10618) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - JAN 26, 2011
Bottle: Golden with a orangey sheen, hazy, lively carbonation, small and stable off-white head; quite distinctive fruity-bready nose with faint traces of lemon peel; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, relatively soft; slightly lingering fruity-hoppy finish with bready and lemony flavours. Decent english stuff.... mkel07 (5965) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - NOV 28, 2010
500ml bottle. Pours a robust and hearty looking dark amber colour with a low lying level white head. Grapefruit in the nose with a backdrop of sweetness. Smooth on the palate with a moderate bitterness that kcicks in at the end. Easy to drink and the mellowness makes this a good session beer. A Sim rate (bottle at Laney’s): Malty and sweetly buttery & syrupy aroma. Bitter but peppery flavour. Malty bitterness. It’s ok. I could drink a few of these. ComradeK (1236) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - NOV 13, 2010
500ml bottle. Pours a clear amber, with a small, dissipating head, yet passable lace. There is a fair bit of honey on the nose, with the merest hint of citrus hops. Moderate citrus hops to start with some assertive sweet malt coming through, particularly some honey character. Not the most complex bitter around, but a good session ale.
