floral, golden, amber, clear, white foam, medium sweetness, slightly bitter, . similar to the black sheep but better in my opinion a very very good beer

Alengrin (5376) - BELGIUM - JUL 30, 2014
Variation on Black Sheep Ale with a thick, cream white, equal head and orange blonde colour bordering on amber, clear. Aroma reveals soapy and grassy hoppiness, vanilla, green apple, some orange, a hint of smoked meat and fried egg. Taste fresh and citrussy, peach and orange peel, drying with a relatively strong carbonation due to the bottle conditioning, sweetish pale malts, caramelly middle, smooth but somewhat thin mouthfeel, finishing in a dry grassy and somewhat peppery, yet mild hop bitterness. Refreshing ale.

50cl bottle from the Spar. Appearance - golden amber with a decent head. Nose - lemon curd and hay. Taste - lemon and metallic. Enveloped in honey. Palate - medium bodied with a tangy texture and a fairly good finish but slightly cloying with the tanginess I would say. Overall - decent ale.

victorsampson96 (107) - North Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAY 8, 2014
Clear, golden orange, medium carbonation. Sweet malt and odd sulphur tang on the nose. A little oily on the palate. Strong peppery hops with a little citrus and light caramel, giving way to grass and thick dough aromas, with a rather metalic end. Drinkable, but nothing special, and rather unbalanced.

edsspoon (900) - Nottinghamshire, ENGLAND - APR 10, 2014
Pours golden with a foamy white head which gradually fades to a ring. Aroma is floral, honey, citrus and hops. Taste is honey, hops, citrus, bitterness and quite sweet. Also a bit watery, which is a shame.
