Mr_Pink_152 (5541) - Lincoln, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - MAY 25, 2017
Tried at the Lincoln beer festival 3017 8.5%. Black colour with a tan head. Aroma has big alcohol. Taste roasted malt but very sweet. Sickly.

24-04-2017; bottle; PivBar, Moscow, Russia. The looks of the beer are great. The color of the beer is nice super dark brown, almost black. On top of the beer there is a nice layer of soft greyish brown foam. Nice. The smell of the beer is nice. I smell nice aromas of oak wood, giving a sour touch, toasty malts giving some aromas of coffee and chocolate and a tiny aroma of alcohol. Quite nice. The taste of the beer is also nice. Nice rather sour oakwood, bitter and sweet roasted malts and some nice sweet, bitter and sour hops. All the flavours aren in good balance. Actually quite nice. The palate is nice. Medium-full body, a bit watery texture and medium light carbonation. The finish is nice and filled with roast and oaky touches. Lovely beer, but not the best RIS (Russian Imperial Stout) I’ve had. Ofcourse the Russian ones are better (even though the style originates from England, if I’m not mistaken).

vinivini (3000) - Gomel, BELARUS - APR 11, 2017
Pours deep chestnut brown with small beige head that soon transforms into moderate laces. Big fruit esters on nose accompanied by roasted malts and a light alcoholic note. Medium body. Malty flavour picture. The roast is obvious. Dried fruit, spirits, chocolate and coffee on ending. Low to light bitterness.

Johnstledger8 (1327) - Dublin, IRELAND - MAR 11, 2017
Bottle. Pours a pitch black with a thin lacy light beige head. Aroma is of coffee, dark chocolate, caramel, dark fruits, figs, raisins, plums, treacle. Taste is of chocolate, treacle, liquorice, dark fruits, toffee, bitter finish. Thick oily mouthfeel, medium carbonation.

ManVsBeer (10946) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - FEB 25, 2017
Bottle from Saltaire Wines, Saltaire. Very dark with a subdued strength in terms of its taste, which is quite smooth, but not very flavoursome.

pivnizub (10809) - Bochum, Porř, GERMANY - DEC 3, 2016
Bottle: Very deep ruby-amber coloured, small but persisting and lacy off-white head; moderate sweet caramelly-fruity nose with a certain amount of toasted malt in the second row; moderate and relatively dry bitter-sweet flavour, relatively light bodied for a beer of this strength; slightly lingering dryish bitter and toasty finish. Good, but lacking a certain complexity...

I bought this bottle at Amstein. I drank it at home. The body is black and thin and brown foam. The taste is with roasted malt, side of licor, vanilla, alcohol, a bit heavy but it is correct for the price, roasted malt and hop.

weark (884) - Morges, SWITZERLAND - JUL 5, 2016

Bozo_skeleton (1165) - Grenoble, FRANCE - MAY 10, 2016
