Pours black with literally no foam. Aroma is not intense, and gives terrain and some coffee. Body is tendentially light but a bit creamy and oily. Taste is balanced between sweet and bitter, with an enjoyable final bitterness. jmgreenuk (9452) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - NOV 24, 2016

Cask handpull at Hamilton Hall London as ’Black Sheep Riggwelter’. Dark brown with a ruby hue to the light, foamy beige head leaves very full lacing. Aroma is airy even as it drains. Get some chemical later on, some glue. Body is a touch frothy with soft carbonation. Taste is toasted teacake, toast, black pepper, prunes, glue, rum-like booze, salty finish with some liquorice stick. Burnt astringency with a lasting tang. Big flavour but it’s quite harsh for its abv. I want to love it but I don’t. A half was too much. Theydon_Bois (19506) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - JUL 10, 2016
