In 0.5L bottle. Pours copper colored, clear. About a finger of cream colored head with very fine bubbles. Aroma is grassy and herbal. Fully body. Very sweet and fruity. Not all that bitter, actually, but lots of flavor. TheKernOwl (214) - West Sussex, ENGLAND - AUG 17, 2015
• Trademark slightly funk raincoat smell (this one a bit sourer) [MAINLY GOLDINGS HOPS].
• Body: an initial dry body-check, slight nuttiness? [SOME DEMERARA SUGAR], then chalky fade.
• Aftertaste: a bit of English-bitter-style aftertaste.

Bottle at home pocked up from Sainsbury’s. Light amber / orange coloured pour with a lasting loose off white head. Aroma holds pronounced English yeast esters with berry and hedgerow, nutty grains and a little unrefined sugars. Flavour is composed of nutty grainy malts, a little stale, berry and earthy hop. Slight dry mineral quality to the water profile. Palate us semi sweet, dusty on the tongue. Finish is semi dry. Moderate carbonation.

(Bought as a bottle of Sainsburys Yorkshire Bitter) Clear, lively amber beer with a thick frothy head and a slightly sweet, hoppy aroma. Flavour is a slightly odd mix. Initially a sweet, fruity hit with a strong taste of apples, the sweetness quickly making way for bitter hop and then ending up with a dry, malty finish. jackafholmes (1017) - - DEC 29, 2014
Christmas gift. Inoffensive ale. Slightly sweet with a slight bitter aftertaste. Medium body and medium carbonation. Ok beer. spartakbarnsley (67) - St Petersburg, RUSSIA - DEC 25, 2014
Bottle from Tesco. This satisfying Yorkshire beer made a lovely accompaniment to some Wensleydale cheese on Christmas Day. Looks and smells like a bitter should - red and slightly malty. Light carbonation, notes of malt and dark fruits. Hops present but not dominant. Very nice bitter, would love to try on tap. Mr_Pink_152 (5093) - Lincoln, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - NOV 22, 2014
