(Old BA rate - bottle)
Hazy orange-amber color, with nice slightly white head. Great retention and lacing throughout. Lots of great malt aromas up front, but some yeastiness that follows right behind. Almost herbal aromas as well. Maltier up front, but there is a good hop presence as well as some of those herbal flavors picked up in the aroma. Medium MF, with a lot of carbonation for the style. I didn’t think that was negative, though. Fairly viscous. his was a breeze to sample, and I could see this as a great session beer for myself. Overall, this had a lot of interesting aspects, but was a very balanced Pale Ale. I would certainly recommend, and I think it’s Black Sheep’s best offering. zvikar (6464) - Ramat Gan, ISRAEL - MAR 2, 2010
At a tasting, thanks David, pours rusty orange with a small head, aroma of cheese, herbs, grass and notes of caramel, flavor is dry and bitter, cardboard, floral notes in the aftertaste, medium to low bodied. DSG (15237) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - MAR 2, 2010
Bottle at a tasting. Thanks David C. Clear golden with a light haze. Aroma is grainy with some buttery notes. Flavor starts with sweetish grainy malt and then turns bitter, earthy and a bit metallic. Medium-bodied. tomer (3737) - Rishon Le Zion, ISRAEL - FEB 27, 2010

Bottle at a tasting: not much going in the aroma, the flavor is not much better, tastes more like an macro pilsner the an ale, some rubber, some wet wood, some metalic notes, some bitterness, some herbal notes, pretty dry, little charachter.

500cl bottle, consumed on 30 July 2009. Pale amber. Modest aroma with just a touch of fruit. Sweetish on the palate. Some tart bitterness on the finish. Clean enough with a quite chalky mouthfeel. Not that much to it but perfectly pleasant

500 ml bottle, thanks to my beerpal Egil. ABV is 5.0%. Deep golden colour, big and lasting white head. Pleasant fruity aroma of hops, notes of orange marmalade and toffee. The flavour is well hopped throughout, with a sufficient malty backbone, the finish is very bitter with some metallic notes. mike_77 (7089) - Breda, NETHERLANDS - OCT 24, 2009
Slightly hazy orange colour. Flavour is quite bitter with some subtle fruity flavours akin to fruit cake coming through at the end.

Golden colour, mediumsized fluffy beige head. Aroma is fruits, some cardboard, yeast and mild notes of red berries. Flavour is quite much the same along with grass and some toffeeish notes.
Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, straw, caramel, cabbage water and paper notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light metalic.
