Draught at Black Star Co-Op, Austin, TX, 26.4.2016. On the board it said Golden Ale, 4.6%. Clear amber. Honey, malt and light caramel aroma, fresh and toasted with very light bitterness. Medium-to-full body, toasty-bready with a hint of honey finish. Enjoyable.

Tap at brewery. Pours golden, white head with good retention. Aroma is sweet, faint honey and citrus hops. Taste is a bit earthy, faint toast and a bit of sweetness in the aftertaste. Sessionable. Light body, high carbonation. Pretty good!

Light floral notes with a thin head. Served rather cool. While cold the beer has a distinct biscuit characteristic. Some of my companions have detected notes of the honey. After it warms up the beer’s flavors spring forward. Its got a medium to thin body and good balance of hops. On a bad day it might be a little bitter, but overall it’s a pleasant experience when visiting their establishment.
