2.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Got this at Grocery Outlet, a six pack of bottles for 5.99. Dissappointing.
This poured a dark amber with a head that dissappeared pretty rapidly and balrely stuck around. Lacing was noticible, but not much presence.
Aroma was slight malt, not much to it. Flavor was light toasted malt and the so-called double hopped recipe was barely noticable. Mouthfeel was pretty much on the watery side. Carbonation was okay. It is drinkable, but given the price I’d rather drink PBR or Schlitz Original.
Draft. Pours a dark gold with a high, fine-grained head. Nose is sweet and clean, with definite baking-bread notes. Sweeter than most lagers, but with a bright fruitiness that keeps it fresh under the hops bitterness. Finishes very crisp, and drinks quickly. Really good. Darkmagus82 (2302) - - SEP 14, 2014

Poured from can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a golden color with a two finger white head that fades relatively rapidly with tons of carbonation bubbles seen streaming through the brew. As the head fades over time only a lighter level of lace is left on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is of a light graininess mixed with some biscuit and lighter fruit smells. Along with these aromas is a lighter corn smell giving the beer an overall light but sweet odor.
Taste – The taste begins with a light malt taste mixed with some caramel and a bit of corn. As the flavor advances some fruity tastes as well as a light hop of a grassy taste comes to the tongue. These flavors take the taste to its end, leaving a crisp sweet and bready flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel- The body of the beer was on the slightly thinner to average side in terms of creaminess with a carbonation level that was on the slightly higher side. Both made it a rather more refreshing beer and were quite appropriate for the style.
Overall- Refreshing and rather easy drinking but nothing out of this world. A good brew for a hot day while just sitting around with friends chatting. nulptr (114) - SCOTLAND - DEC 28, 2013
tall boy. corn beer. more body than your michelobs and PBRs but the sickly sweetness makes it somehow less refreshing. not a complete disaster but I wouldn’t go here again. Barreras (1689) - Diamond Bar, California, USA - JUN 30, 2013
Pours a golden color with a pale corn araom. A VERY simple pale lager that was more watery thin than any other flavor. I only drank this beer to rate it. DedicatedToFun (4000) - Santa Monica, California, USA - MAY 23, 2013
Not bad, drank regularly in San Francisco, cheap and always on special so a lot of these.

This gold color lager tastes a lot like the other "American lagers" it claims to be like. It has a little more roasted flavor and is crisp and easy to drink.

Can. Clear golden pour, white head. Grainy, a bit of corn, light sweetness, and not much hops. Very bland, but its easy drinking. Tmoney99 (14479) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 8, 2013
Bottle shared by wihorock. Poured clear golden color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Light to medium grassy lager aroma. Light to medium body with a thin smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium grass sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of short to moderate duration. Soft drinkable beer. mrmartin (780) - New York, New York, USA - JAN 18, 2013

Taste: lightly sweet initial flavor and lightly bitter finish with short duration.
Palate: light body, watery texture and lively carbonation.
Overall: nothing memorable. Just an average lager.
