Bottle. Hazy light amber with a thick, off-white head, fully lasting. Aroma of caramel, toasted bread, citrus, pear, plum, strawberry, mustiness, herbs. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/velvety texture, lively carbonation. Taste of fruity esters, light mustiness, toasted grain, cherry, citrus. The early sweetness takes a light bitter turn in the finish. Have to think the hops have lost some of their oomph (2016 bottle). Still a pleasure to drink. Clean and full of flavor.

750 ml bottle poured into a snifter. The beer is a moderately hazy copper with a white head of foam that dissipates quickly. The aroma has doughy notes, spicy rye type of aspects, and brown bread. Taste is on the sweet side, but it maintains a bit of spice, especially at the finish. Spritzy mouthfeel and medium body. Medium to high carbonation.

Pours an amber color with a small head... small but respectable.

The aroma is softly spicy with a light nuttiness and some pear like fruitiness. Some mild earthy notes along with some herbal stuff is H-A-P-P-E-N-I-N-G.

The flavor has a lot of toffee & pears with a bit of herbal bitterness. Leafy & lightly earthy.

A fun interpretation of a dubbel
