COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a Belgian-style farmhouse ale. The aroma is dominated by fruity esters reminiscent of citrus fruits along with a moderate earthy and floral hop aroma from the use of Noble-type hops in the brewing process. Has a deep gold, hue that is often hazy, and a voluminous head on pouring as a result of the bottle-conditioning and high natural carbonation. The beer is medium-bodied and has a very refreshing effervescence which, along with a fairly low alcohol content, makes this a beer to be enjoyed on a warm day by itself or with a wide range of foods, whether casual or fine dining. Complex flavors and aromas in this beer are a result of the special yeast used in fermentation combined with the additional complexity added by bottle-conditioning in large bottles for at least six weeks before being released.

Bricolage, Brooklyn tap: pours clear gold with white head. Aroma has some fruitiness, hay, light spiciness. Taste is spicy with a hoppy bite. Not super dry. Light sweetness. A very drinkable and tasty ale.

Hazy golden yellow pour with a soapy white head. Powerful aroma of yeast, banana, and clove. Bananas, clove, yeast, and some peach flavor. Might be the best saison I’ve ever had.

Clear, medium golden appearance with a lacy white head. Aroma of fruity esters, banana, clove, light spice, toasted malt and light hops. Similar flavor, adding a moderate, creamy, malty sweetness and a light hop bitterness. Medium body with smooth, soft feel and a light dry finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Wow. This is the best American made Saison I’ve ever had. Hands down. They mastered the Classic European flavors in this masterpiece. Aroma was awesome. Yeasty with green apple, peach and white grape smells. Poir was a lovely hazy light orange with a one finger white head that lasted throughout most of the beer. Taste was such a great classic example of the style. Dry with heavy refreshing carbonation. Green apple, peach and other light fruits dominated with a nice stale hops and yeast flavor in the finish and beyond. I can’t say enough great things about this beer.

Crisp, bright, floral saison, full of nice red apple esters and a mild yeasty citric undertone. Grass and pepper mix with modest clove and banana notes, leading to a fruity, slightly tart middle and a firm, moderate bitter finish. Sparkly carbonation gives it the feel of a traditional French farmhouse ale. Nose offers up hay and yeast and mild clove, and the pour’s not bad, sparkly and bright gold with a frothy white head and modest lacing. About as classic as an American saison can get.

750ml bottle. Lightly hazed yellow gold, big fluffy head slowly fades to a thin white cap. Fruity yeasty nose, grass, lemon, spice flavors, light funk. Banana notes come out with warming. Creamy texture, persistent soft carbonation. Very enjoyable.

Tap. Unfortunally I lost my notes for this beer except for the scores I gave it. Have to try it again.

Bottle at home, split with James, 05/05/17. Lightly hazed orange golden with a decent off white cap. Nose is funk, farmyard, peach esters, straw, hedgerow, lemon drizzle. Taste comprises sweet and sour citric vibes, straw, light yeast esters, mellow funk, earthhy, light spice trail. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Solid saison ... ticks all the style boxes well.
