on tap-pours a tan ring for a head and dark copper color. Aroma is dark malt-chocolate, earthy hops. Taste is dark malt-chocolate, earthy hops.

Tap. dark brown w a thin beige head that fell away to almost nothing quickly. Low carbonation, no lace. Aroma is a bit thin/watery w moderate dark roast malt and mild hops, a bit sweet w a touch of chocolate. Flavor is smooth, creamy, smokey, woody, dark roast malt with a touch of alcohol that fit in well. Light hops, into medium bodied. There was a rather sweet bourbon flavor with a touch of vanilla that I kinda liked. Even though it was on the sweet side I could have drank more. The flavor was OK.
