COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This creamy vanilla ale is a wonderful combination of Vienna malt, American two row and natural vanilla bean. Try it out and see why it’s one of our more popular brews.

Vanilla and light citrus aroma. Mildly malty with a strong vanilla flavor. Sweet vanilla finish. Not awful, but I think it might have been better if they dialed down the vanilla a little and let a little more malt character out.

Faint golden yellow pour, thin white head. Aroma is mostly mild citrus. Flavor is similar to a cream soda, which I really liked here. Refreshing and light.

UPDATED: AUG 4, 2017 Draft in Tennessee. Doesn't look or taste like a beer! Pale and thin, and extraordinarily sweet.

Bottle: Clear golden-tan with a tall white head. Barley, vanilla aroma. Vanilla, barley malt flavour. Very light, but sort of an old-school "American Beer" feel to it, if that makes any sense. Rather enjoyable.

On tap at Flying Saucer, Nashville, TN, 4.5.16. Clear gold. Vanilla milkshake aroma, McDonald’s vanilla milkshake taste. Too light of a body, soft carbonation, vanilla with a little bit of rose water in the finish.

Light bodied. Artificial vanilla with sweet creamy mouthfeel. Not fantastic but passable.

Bottle. Vanilla, biscuit malt, and tinny aroma. Yellow with small head. Moderately sweet vanilla, biscuit malt and mildly bitter metallic straw flavor. Okay body. Decent, light.

drfabulous (8590) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - MAY 21, 2016
12 ounce can. Light yellow. Lots of vanilla. Drowned in vanilla. But that probably saves it from being a cream ale.

2.3
jcr (2763) - Jasper, Indiana, USA - MAY 13, 2016
Can. Cloudy golden body with a fizzy white head. Anemic aroma of vanilla and toasted grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Thin body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Astringency in the finish with a lingering chalkiness.

From the can. Canned on 11/5/15. Aroma is vanilla. Flavor is vanilla. Sweet but not overly so.
