Cask at The Earl Grey Inn, Leek. A clear golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of bready malts, slight grain, orange, lemon, a little apricot, maybe peach and subtle grassy hops. Taste of orange, lemon, apricot, a little grapefruit, some bready malts, slight grain and subtle earthy, grassy hops. Medium bodied and soft carbonation. A dryish, fruity, grassy hop bitterness in the finish. A fruity beer as you would expect from a Australian hopped pale ale. Good body and doughy malts. Decent.
