330ml bottle at home in Richmond as ’Blackjack King of Clubs Regal Stout’, 7.2%,bottled Feb 2015. Opaque black with a diminishing brown head. Aroma is sweetened Americano, chocolate syrup, light liquorice. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is dark chocolate, ashy burnt notes, quite rich with some floral hops, salty linger. Packs the flavour of an imperial stout into a smaller package. Very good stuff. Recommended.

RichardW (1813) - Carlisle, Cumbria, ENGLAND - OCT 17, 2015
Bottle Coppers Newcastle. Pours deep inky black, with a tan head. Licquorice and roast malt in abundance, rich fruit flavour, with chocolate and licquorice notes. Expected a thicker body for this abv, but that doesn’t detract from a very high quality stout. Quite vineous late on.

zacgillbanks (5429) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - OCT 9, 2015
Bottle from Coppers, Newcastle. Inky black with no head. It has a rich chocolate and coffee flavour with, vanilla and oak notes followed by liquorice and more dark chocolate on the finish.

Mjp12 (1958) - York, North Yorkshire, ENGLAND - SEP 27, 2015
Really good stout, the bottle has it as an imperial stout, which is more accurate.. Coffee and chocolate aromas, nice liquorice finish, if the abv was a couple of % higher, this would have a fuller mouthfeel, and be a world class beer.
