Hand pump. Iodine, butter and grass aroma, light dusty. Deep golden, offwhite head. Medium light mellow dry body, ok balance on the palate. quite grassy herbal finish.

Cask at the Antelope in Surbiton. Some resiny hop, sweet, but too much alcohol notable in finish and not enough character beyond it. Not great.

Cask. Aroma slight. Grassy and mildly malted. Pours a pale amber with white foam top. Taste has biscuity malts and floral hops. To some this is balanced and to others dull. But it makes for an easy drinking bitter that conceals its abv. I’d have it again but wouldn’t seek it out.

Lightly hazy gold beer, big pale cream colour head. Palate is light, dry and has a fine minerally crispness. Light banana esters into modestly sweet floralness. A touch of pithy orange and orange peel. Light dry finish. Bitter linger. Not bad.

teorn88 (7682) - Rimini, ITALY - DEC 7, 2015
Cask at CBC CW, London. It pours a clean amber color with minimal tan head. Aroma is biscuity and malty, quite grassy and bitter. Taste is dry bitter, with some dried leaves, earth and biscuit notes. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Overall, meh

minutemat (5807) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - NOV 18, 2013
Cask @ Post Office Vaults. Has a defined toffee malt character with a few custard creams in the mix. Slight bitterness. Not really my thing.

cask at portstreet ... copper ... creamy tan head ... soft asweet toffee malt ... long bitter hop ... soft toffee malt ...way way to bitter and little soapy for me.
