Beese (2735) - Watford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 20, 2017
Cask at The Smithfield Market Tavern, Manchester. Not a bad beer, but a little sweaty, and the lingering bitterness isn't altogether balanced.

Cask at the Cask pub and kitchen. A clear golden yellow coloured pour with a speckled white head. Aroma is pale bready malts, grassy citrus, kiwi fruit, straw, lemon rind. Flavour is composed of soft light malts, bread, little hay with cittusy hops. Mellow bitterness, grassy and lemon rind. Palate is soft and easy golden no, good cask condition,. Nice easy going gold with new world hops.

Handpull, Port Street Beer House, Manchester, 20/01/16. Bright lacing straw. Aroma lightly buttered honeycomb with a good wring of dishcloth. Soapy punchily bitter and floral with departing vanilla and corn-like softness. Solid spiky stuff.

jmgreenuk (9447) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - FEB 18, 2016
Cask at Cherry Reds, Birmingham. Poured a clear light amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is grassy hop, citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter with a smooth, creamy yeast, grapefruit sour, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Lots of bite and flavour for the ABV.

3.2
Towey1989 (2818) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 25, 2016
Cask at The Earl Grey Inn, Leek. A clear pale golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of peach, some orange, a little lemon, subtle grain and floral hops. Taste is similar of peach, some grapefruit, slight orange, subtle grain and floral hops. Light bodied and an oily texture. A dry, floral hop bitterness in the finish. Impressed by the hoppiness and body of this low ABV beer, however it’s quite dry and bitter. No sweetness to balance it out.

Nose is citric pith, light smoke, earthy, mineral vibes, toasted malt, bitter hop, tangerine. Taste comprises pale malts, citric rinds, light bread dough, lemon jus, light spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a subtle hoppy wash. Ok stuff.

Cask ale, half at Craft Beer Co, Clerkenwell. Crystal clear golden coloured body. Just a bubbly ring on the surface. Minimal lacing. Mid-sweet pale malty aromas added by hints of dried fruits. Fruit hoppy taste of peaches joined by juicy malts. Fruit bitterness to the ending. Mild oily palate. Fine bodied for the low abv. Well made (London 28.09.2014).

2.5
Finn (7547) - Tromsø, NORWAY - OCT 8, 2014
Fra cask på The Harp, Covent Garden 24 Sep 14. Veldig lys gyldenbrun. Middels høyt skum som varer. Svak fruktaroma. Litt tynn smak av grapefrukt. Blir syrligere etter hvert. Last visit to the old The Harp? Fuller’s next. A bit sceptical about the takeover. It will be difficult to maintain the atmosphere and beer quality with a new management.
