Cask at Cherry Reds, Birmingham. Poured a clear light amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is grassy hop, citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter with a smooth, creamy yeast, grapefruit sour, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Lots of bite and flavour for the ABV. Towey1989 (3427) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 25, 2016
Cask at The Earl Grey Inn, Leek. A clear pale golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of peach, some orange, a little lemon, subtle grain and floral hops. Taste is similar of peach, some grapefruit, slight orange, subtle grain and floral hops. Light bodied and an oily texture. A dry, floral hop bitterness in the finish. Impressed by the hoppiness and body of this low ABV beer, however it’s quite dry and bitter. No sweetness to balance it out.
