Sampled from the at the St. Paul Summer Beer Fest. Pours a hazy pale yellow with a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has notes of sweet wheat, light flora, a bit of lime and a touch of grass. Flavor is flora forward with grass and lime growing as well as a bit of sweet grain. A bit muddled. Thanks to T.J. for sharing. Poured a fairly deep shade (for a wit) of hazy orange with a creamy off-white head. The aroma had a very strong Thai bent to it, with savory limes and light pink peppercorns over meaty, bready wheat.. some orange zest and banana accents.. a touch nutty on the back of the nose. The flavor found almost chewy wheat malt at the core, with Thai limes, peppercorns, and orange peel laced throughout, along with a hit of grassy bitterness.. finished with thick malts plus Belgian and Thai influences. Heavy-bodied (for a wit), with a thick, coating mouthfeel.. if you’re looking for a tasty, sipping beer, this one’s for you.. for your typical "wit", this isn’t what you want. Sample at Northgate Liquors MN beer tasting. This was a nice, crisp Belgian wheat beer, but overall the lime was just a bit too overpowering, bringing vibes of "hint of lime" tortilla chips. drsordr (2984) - Loveland, Ohio, USA - MAR 1, 2015
Draft sample at FoBAB 2014 aged in tequila barrel pour hazy light gold. Nose lime, Belgian yeast, some ester. Taste big lime almost cleaner. Some base beer wit flavors and hint of wood. Beerman6686 (6611) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 21, 2014

Pour on tap at APN 2013, slightly hazy yellow pour with thin white head, aroma brought notes of big refreshing lime leaves, hints of orange, lemon as well with a bit of a candied note into some biscuit, bread, hints of spice, coriander, pepper. Taste is a mix of biscuit and bread, big lime, citrus, and slight white fruit, hints of pepper, clove, touch of grass, spice, finishing fairly sweet, slightly dry. Tasty. All Pints North, 2013. Lots of coriander in the aroma. Sweet with wheat and sugar. I do pick up the yeast, but can’t say I perceive the lime. Imperial Wit, like Imperial Pilsner, is a style l just don’t think should exist. Solid effort anyway. TheHOFF43 (2052) - Robbinsdale, Minnesota, USA - JUL 23, 2013
Sample at APN. Pour is hazy, another beer with lots of belgian characteristics but the lime really makes it different and refreshing. Bacterial (3103) - Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA - JUL 15, 2013
Draft at All Pints North. Big time leafy, organic, lime in the nose. Grassy and citrus taste. Refreshing.
